Our Story

Building AI that works for you. Not on you.

The story of how a 13-year partnership, 9 patents, and a refusal to compromise on privacy became XEROTECH AI.

The Problem

Why we exist

Every AI platform today forces the same trade-off: powerful capabilities or genuine privacy. Professionals handling sensitive information, whether lawyers, consultants, doctors, or accountants, either avoid AI entirely or take risks they should not have to.

We started XEROTECH to eliminate that trade-off. Privacy should be architectural, not a policy that can change with the next terms of service update. Sensitive data should be processed before it ever leaves your device. Not after. Not in transit. Not on someone else’s server.

That principle drives everything we build.

Timeline

How we got here

2012

Where it started

Noman Shah and Dr. Atif Naseer met in Saudi Arabia while working on technology projects in high-pressure environments. Shah was leading enterprise systems. Naseer was deep in AI research, building crowd analytics systems processing data from millions of people in real time. They built research infrastructure and a startup ecosystem together before XEROTECH existed.

2021

The decision

Shah walked away from a $200 million World Bank-funded technology programme he had designed and led, serving 1.4 million vulnerable households. The systems his team built, including digital identity platforms, health coverage infrastructure, and social protection registries, reached tens of millions of citizens. He left to build something of his own.

2022

XEROTECH founded

The company was incorporated in the UAE, then moved to London in 2023 to build its intellectual property base in the UK. The founding thesis: AI should be accessible, private, and useful, not locked behind enterprise budgets or compromised by data policies that favour the provider over the user.

2023

First product shipped

AIA Video CallGPT launched at STEP Conference Dubai, introducing face-to-face video conversation with an AI avatar for the first time. Users could see, speak to, and interact with AI in real time, the way they would on a Zoom call. No major provider had shipped anything comparable. The application also introduced automated task execution through AI agents, a concept that would become an industry standard two years later. Over 10,000 downloads.

Lesson: workflow integration matters more than novelty

2025

VisionXI launched

An AI-powered accessibility app that interprets and narrates visual STEM problems for learners with visual impairments. Available on iOS and Android.

Lesson: simplicity wins

2025

The 7-Day Build Challenge

Shah built the complete enterprise architecture for what would become CallGPT 6X. 50,000+ lines of production code. 8 modules. Authentication to billing to AI orchestration. All in 7 days. GPG-signed. Documented live on YouTube. 67,000+ views. Built using the AIfu methodology, a post-Agile framework Shah developed where AI executes and humans govern.

2026

CallGPT 6X launched

Six AI providers. 20+ models. One private workspace. Client-side privacy filtering. Real-time cost tracking. Context-aware editable artifacts. Patent-pending context compression technology. The product where every lesson from every previous build came together.
